The beginning of a new year is a time to reflect on accomplishments.  We set many goals in business development early in 2013, but our most important goal was to build on existing customer relationships.

Our dedicated account managers spent many hours traveling (38,160 miles and 194 visits to be exact!) to customer locations across North America. (Side note:  if you are a customer and you have not received a visit from one of us, please let me know!) The message our account managers carried was simple: Tolteq is here to listen.

Because of the feedback you gave us, we implemented several improvements to better support our customers:

  • We established a 24/7 product support line, staffed by a knowledgeable group of Product Support Engineers (most of whom have spent significant time in the field).
  • We defined a solid process for receiving customer feedback and use it to improve our products, our processes, and even our employee training.
  • We fine-tuned procedures and developed work stations for MWD tool maintenance to ensure that our customers get the most out of their investment.
  • We created a comprehensive training course with the goal of helping our customers learn more about our products and how to best maintain them.
  • We launched this monthly eNewsletter, The Pulse, to keep everyone up-to-date on Tolteq news.
  • We redesigned our website, Tolteq.com, to be more informative and user-friendly.

…And we’re not done because we are always striving to be better!

After reflecting on past accomplishments, we eagerly shift to setting new goals. As the Business Development Manager, I am very aware that happy customers are loyal customers; therefore, our goals for 2014 will be focused on customer satisfaction.

We will work to ensure customer satisfaction by:

  • Conducting quick phone surveys and using the information gathered for continuous improvement.
  • Introducing new innovative products that have been thoroughly tested and provide copies of the test documentation so that you can buy with confidence.
  • Listening for your MWD challenges so that we can partner with you to find solutions.

So in 2014, get ready to see us around; not only can you expect regular visits from your Tolteq account manager, we are also excited to be exhibiting this year at several major trade shows, such as CIPPE, OTC, and GPS,  to name a few.  (Expect some major announcements from Tolteq to coincide with those events! We will provide more details in The Pulse as we get closer to the date.)  Please stop by our booth and say hello—we are always eager to touch base.
